Pozíció leírása / Job descriptionManage international payroll operations with advanced expertise, ensuring accurate collection, validation, and processing of payroll data across multiple countries.
Provide employees with a seamless, high-quality payroll experience by delivering timely support, resolving complex cases, and applying root cause analysis with corrective actions.
Collaborate closely with HR and Finance in daily operations as well as projects, ensuring that global payroll standards are effectively tailored to local practices.
Support HR in gathering, calculating, and entering payroll data where automation is not in place, while analysing more complex inputs and preparing management-level reporting.
Safeguard the accuracy and consistency of payroll data across integrated HR and payroll platforms.
Use analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve discrepancies, develop preventive measures, and make well-informed decisions by incorporating input from peers.
Lead or contribute to payroll-related projects that impact the wider business, acting as payroll representative in transformation or change initiatives.
Serve as subject matter expert for payroll transformation in your assigned countries, ensuring full compliance with statutory and legal obligations while aligning with global design.
Mentor and support colleagues by offering guidance on complex cases, assisting with employee queries, and stepping in to ensure payroll continuity when needed.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance payroll processes and strengthen collaboration across functions.
Define, prioritise, and oversee the execution of a payroll roadmap for your area of responsibility.
Create, review, and maintain process documentation to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
Take ownership of your personal development plan and collaborate with your Team Lead to achieve your goals.
Carry out additional tasks or projects as assigned by your manager.
Excellent communication skills, with professional fluency in both English and German.
Solid knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and processes.
3–5 years of relevant experience in a comparable payroll position.
Genuine interest in payroll, as well as enthusiasm for payroll systems and process improvements.
Hands-on experience in payroll operations and familiarity with Workday or other large-scale HR platforms is highly desirable.
Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and problem-solving ability.
Confident user of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work with data effectively.
Strong team player, comfortable collaborating in a remote, digital-first environment using tools like Slack and Zoom.
