Your team will cover the seamless operation of Trade Affirmation & Capture, Settlement, and Cashflows across multiple asset classes and products. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, managing risks, and maintaining regulatory compliance across all processes. A key focus of the role is fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture through active leadership and development. You will act as the primary liaison for critical internal and external stakeholders, including investment teams, brokers, custodians, and technology partners.

- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Trade Operations professionals, ensuring effective coverage across all operational areas.
- Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including trade affirmation & capture, settlement & cashflows, and support for listed derivatives and complex products.
- Evaluate new markets, new instruments, and non-standard requests in line with Operations Governance procedures, partnering with service providers to implement solutions.
- Identify, establish, and implement standard methodologies in regard to trade operations to ensure consistency.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all trade-related activities, maintaining high standards of data integrity and operational control.
- Liaise with portfolio management, technology, compliance, legal, and risk teams to develop and implement robust procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with Operations Leadership to enhance the operating model, drive process improvements, and support strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, representing the Trade Operations function in audits and regulatory reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong experience in the full trade lifecycle (affirmation, capture, settlement, cashflows)
- Proficiency in market utilities (CTM, SWIFT, CLS, Bloomberg, TradeWeb) and Aladdin
- Proven team leadership experience in financial services or asset management
- Strong knowledge of operational risk and regulatory frameworks
- Track record in driving process improvements and efficiency
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Ability to inspire and build a high-performing team culture
