The Hungarian team of a market-leading company in its industry, backed by a stable international group, is seeking a new Chief Accountant. The role plays a key part in the end-to-end accounting operations, working in close cooperation with both local and international management in a supportive, professionally strong environment.

• Supervision of the company's full accounting, financial, and tax activities.
• Development of accounting policy and financial regulations.
• Accounting in accordance with IFRS and Hungarian accounting rules.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, annual reports, and audit materials.
• Taxation tasks: declarations, calculations, transfer pricing documentation, official reconciliations.
• Cash-flow planning, financial reporting, supporting budget and forecast.
• Liaising with internal and external partners, as well as group management in English.
• Supervision of daily operational accounting and financial tasks, including customer and supplier processes, bank transactions, asset registration, and payroll reconciliations.

• Higher education in finance or accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant qualification.
• IFRS qualification and experience.
• Experience in an international company.
• Active intermediate or advanced English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Confident use of SAP HANA and MS Office.
• Up-to-date knowledge of accounting and taxation.
• Precision, reliability, and a responsible attitude.
• Ability to work independently with a systematic approach.
