- Team Optimization: Design and implement organizational structures, job rotation schedules, and robust backup plans to ensure operational continuity.
- Talent Cultivation: Create individual development plans to upskill team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Financial Oversight: Lead annual budget planning, managing personnel costs, supply chain expenditures, and cost center allocations.
- Strategic Direction: Define the overarching Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategy and spearhead large-scale optimization projects.
Performance & KPI Management
- Inventory & Working Capital (ISR): Control inventory levels, track Days on Hand (DoH), analyze slow-moving/obsolete stock, and drive strategies to reduce working capital.
- Logistics & Customs (TSR/Duty): Optimize transportation cost structures and manage import duty costs to maximize profitability.
- Warehouse Operations: Ensure 99%+ inventory accuracy, oversee efficient warehouse management, and enforce strict First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principles.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor Supplier Delivery Performance (SDP) and guarantee Customer Delivery Performance (CDP) consistently meets 100% of customer demand.
Value Stream & Facility Layout Planning
- Material Flow Optimization: Develop and regularly review Value Stream Maps (VSM) to identify and execute optimization steps.
- Data Visualization: Utilize Sankey diagrams to visualize and analyze primary transportation routes and material weights.
- Shopfloor Integration: Partner with Production Engineering to define detailed machine allocations that guarantee proper, lean material flow.
- Lean Principles: Enforce and implement SCM-related principles in alignment with the company’s Production System.
- Capex & Equipment: Define hardware specifications/dimensioning for logistics equipment, manage investment planning, and navigate the internal release/approval processes.
Capacity & Supplier Management
- Demand Alignment: Participate in monthly Sales Alignment/Capacity meetings, analyze customer demand fluctuations, and align capacity requirements across the entire supply chain.
- Supplier Sourcing & Audits: Participate in supplier nomination committees (BK) and conduct rigorous logistics audits for bottleneck suppliers.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct monthly logistics performance reviews with key suppliers.
- Quality & Launch Alignment: Lead Bi-weekly Quality & Engineering Execution (BQEE) meetings post-Start of Production (SOP).
Ramp-Up & Change Management
- New Product Launch: Support new project Start of Production (SOP) by executing all SCM-related launch readiness activities.
- Engineering Changes: Coordinate and manage logistics for design and engineering changes during the serial production phase to minimize scrap.
- Lifecycle Management: Monitor and manage component ramp-down and obsolescence tracking for End of Production (EOP) phases.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
Experience: 5+ years of progressive supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Technical Skills: * Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced data visualization/planning tools.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with Sankey diagrams and material flow simulation is highly desirable.
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional communication skills. Analytical mindset with a proven track record of data-driven decision-making.
