·       The consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and stabilization of SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM.

·     This is a senior, hands-on delivery role. The successful candidate must be capable of independently owning the EWM workstream, working directly with warehouse and manufacturing business stakeholders, translating operational requirements into an effective EWM solution, performing configuration, resolving integration issues, and driving the solution through SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.

·     The environment includes manufacturing, warehouse, inventory management, quality, procurement, production, and intercompany / inter-plant logistics processes. The    role requires strong understanding of the integration between Embedded EWM and core S/4HANA processes including MM, IM, PP, QM, SD and logistics execution.

·       Experience implementing EWM in a manufacturing plant environment is essential. 

Key Responsibilities

·  -Lead the Embedded EWM workstream for a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation, from design and configuration through testing, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.

·      Own the functional design and hands-on configuration of SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM, working directly with warehouse, manufacturing, supply chain, quality,      and IT stakeholders.

·    -Design and configure core EWM capabilities, including warehouse structure, inbound and outbound processes, putaway and stock removal, replenishment, internal  movements, physical inventory, handling units, warehouse tasks/orders, and exception handling.

·    -Design and support manufacturing integration, including production supply and staging, consumption, goods receipt from production, Kanban-driven processes, and   finished goods movements.

·       -Configure and support stock transfer and inter-plant logistics, including STO-based inbound and outbound warehouse processes.

·      -Design and configure RF-enabled warehouse processes for receiving, putaway, picking, inventory, and internal movements, including RF device usability and SAP Screen Personas where applicable.

·     -Ensure effective integration between EWM and S/4HANA MM/IM, PP, QM, and SD, including stock movements and EWM-managed versus IM-managed storage           locations.

·      -Work closely with functional, technical, development, integration, security, Basis, and device teams to resolve cross-functional dependencies and deliver the end-to-end     warehouse solution.

·   -Apply a fit-to-standard approach, minimizing unnecessary customization and defining functional specifications for required enhancements, interfaces, reports, RF   developments, and other WRICEF objects.

·       -Support EWM master data and inventory migration, including warehouse product data, storage bins, stock, packaging information, data validation, and reconciliation.

·    -Lead EWM testing and defect resolution across unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end business process testing, including warehouse and manufacturing   integration scenarios.

·       -Troubleshoot complex EWM issues across configuration, master data, transactional data, integration, authorizations, RF processing, and dependent S/4HANA modules.

·       -Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare, including inventory migration, warehouse readiness, cutover sequencing, validation, and hands-on support to warehouse users.

·     Maintain required functional and configuration documentation and provide functional leadership and mentoring to other EWM resources while remaining hands-on with configuration and issue resolution.

Required Experience & Profile

·       10+ years of SAP experience with deep, hands-on expertise in SAP EWM, including proven experience implementing S/4HANA Embedded EWM.

·       At least one full lifecycle EWM implementation through go-live, preferably a greenfield S/4HANA implementation in a manufacturing environment.

·       Strong hands-on configuration experience across inbound, outbound, internal movements, replenishment, physical inventory, handling units, warehouse tasks/orders, RF processes, and exception handling.

·  Strong experience with manufacturing logistics, including production supply and staging, Kanban, goods receipt from production, stock transfers/STOs, inter-site movements, and finished goods processes.

·     Strong integration knowledge across EWM, MM/IM, PP, QM, and SD, including integration between EWM-managed and IM-managed inventory and quality-      managed      stock.

·       Experience with RF-enabled warehouse execution and handheld devices. SAP Screen Personas, Fiori, and warehouse automation experience are beneficial.

·     Experience with EWM master data, inventory migration, SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare, with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex cross-functional issues.

·   Strong fit-to-standard mindset, with the ability to translate physical warehouse operations into SAP processes, challenge unnecessary customization, and distinguish configuration requirements from development needs.

·       Experience with SAP S/4HANA RISE / Private Cloud and regulated manufacturing, life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical environments is strongly preferred.

·       Must operate as a senior, hands-on EWM lead and SME, capable of independently leading design discussions, performing and reviewing configuration, driving issues to resolution, and providing direction to functional, technical, integration, and offshore resources.

·       Strong communication skills and willingness to work directly with plant stakeholders and warehouse operators on the shop floor, including on-site presence in Germany during critical project phases.

·       Fluent English required; German language capability strongly preferred.
