Our client is one of the largest provider of life insurance in Hungary. You have the chance to join their Financial Reporting and Operations team.

This department is part of Corporate Financial Center. The Finance Change & Innovation team is part of the Financial Reporting & Operations team. Its goal is to support the FR&O team’s ambitions with regards to the transformation and continuous improvement of reporting processes, tools and systems, and help steer the business towards maximum success with the aid of data, analytics and insights.

The development teams follow an Agile way or working, they are maximum autonomous, end-to-end responsible and multidisciplinary in setup. In the teams, Financial Analysts FR&O, Change & Innovation Experts and IT specialists work closely together.

Pozíció leírása / Job description

The Senior Change & Innovation Expert is a seasoned professional in the team and is responsible for the implementation of new Finance solutions and optimization projects, as well as embedding these in the FR&O business as usual processes.

  • Execute the changes proposed in the Finance Change roadmap
  • Collect requirements from users and assess the feasibility of the requested change.
  • Translate requirements into clear user stories or epics that the colleagues in the Agile Finance development teams can work on.
  • Guide development activities and prepare test materials. 
  • Where needed prepare training materials and provide training.
  • Actively investigate opportunities for developing and optimizing reporting processes.
  • Play a pivotal role in ad-hoc projects like RTS, IFRS 17 and other one-time initiatives.
  • Pioneer new developments in the areas of consolidation, reporting and other Finance tooling (e.g. Tagetik, PowerBI and Robotics).
  • Drive knowledge building and knowledge sharing within the teams.

 

Elvárások / Requirements

  • University degree in Finance or IT Finance or equivalent 
  • 7-10 years of experience with financial consolidation, reporting and analysis processes 
  • Proven experience with a broad range of finance tools and technologies 
  • Strong data modelling and analysis skills
  • Proven experience with finance process improvement 
  • Track record in supporting/ rolling out improvement changes to (operational) teams
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Experience or interest with a Scrum or Agile way of working
  • Strong written and spoken English language skills
