Our prestigious client is looking for an experienced Greek speaking PTP accountant to join their recently formed team who are managing their internal financial functions. Having US origins, the office in Hungary is similarly international and diverse. Our partner is the 5th biggest entity in biotechnological production in the world, focusing on Life Science Research and Clinical Diagnostics.


This role is responsible for working collaboratively with the Purchase-to-Pay Payment Processing Supervisor in developing and sustaining business practices and/or procedures for all related indirect/direct payables processes and data related to transactional processing for the Procure-to-Pay process stream in the Accounting Shared Services organization. This individual will also work with external/internal partners- this interaction will need excellent Greek and English skills to ensure timely delivery of workload, adhering to targets and deadlines.

Your tasks may include:


  • Process Vendor invoices and payments accurately in timely manner.
  • Expeditiously resolving reconciling items/held invoices with other teams.
  • Complete weekly payment runs and ad-hoc manual payments as required
  • Ensure timely audit of Travel & Expense reports submitted for assigned region in Concur.
  • Update master vendor details to ensure payments are made correctly.
  • Participate in financial statement close cycle and operational accounting functions
  • SOX documentation, ensuring that the standard process is maintained and documentation remains current
  • Proactively improving and undertaking effective business relationship with key vendors

Elvárások / Requirements

  • 1-2 years PTP experience in a fast paced environment
  • Fluent English and Greek language skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Finished related academic background (BA, MA, OKJ, FOSZK, FOKSZ and other)
  • Hungarian is not required
  • SAP experience is an advantage
  • Immediate start is a considerable advantage
