Our client opened it's first café and bakery in 2010. They created an exclusive gastronomical place that reflects extraordinary quality and attention to detail in a homely

environment. A café where fresh, wholesome and healthy artisan food is served, made in their own kitchen, in their own bakery and their own pastry shop.

Currently they are operating 3 shops in Budapest, and last year they opened the "Gardenhouse" with a very unique boutique style hotel surrounded by an award-winning garden. Their aim was "to make their quests enjoy themselves"; succeeded so well that since the establishment of the business they are growing by more than 20% yearly, soundly profitable.

They would like to welcome a Finance and Operation Head in the management-team, who works side by side with the owner in running the business and joins to their amazing team of 70. If you find yourself in the description below, we are very curious to meet you.

Pozíció leírása / Job description

  • Work closely with the owner and other members of the management team
  • Lead the financial (including controlling and bookkeeping), HR and legal operations of the company
  • Review financial and non-financial results to devise solutions or improvements
  • Lead and motivate a strong commercial team
  • Oversee multiply operations and business activities
  • Manage compliance tasks, including HACCP
  • Contribute to wider corporate strategy
  • Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders

Elvárások / Requirements

  • An open and dynamic personality with strong leadership skills
  • 10 years of work experience, including 2 years of leadership experience
  • Excellent Hungarian and English is a must, an economic degree is beneficial
  • Interest in and commitment to the gastronomy industry
  • An entrepreneurial thinking/acting person
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams
  • People-centered leadership approach
  • Committed to self-development as well as to developing others
  • Strong problem solver / strong solution orientation
  • Hands-on numerical skills, ability to compile controlling reports, manage P&L and balance sheets
  • Legal savvy, experience with contract handling
  • Ability to work both independently and in team, and manage multiple priorities
