We are looking for a talented team leader who has relevant experience in GL accounting and People Management. 

As a member of the GL team, he/she will make sure that the team’s day-to-day operational duties and tasks are completed in a timely manner; develop relationships with other stakeholders in the company. 


Pozíció leírása / Job description

• Ensure all SOX controls are executed • Prioritizing the workload according to requests from internal and external stakeholders.  • Manages optimal utilization in the Team (work allocation, controlling leaves, vacation planning). Ensure business continuity, including employee administration. Define and maintain proper backup structure to ensure business continuity and service quality. • Meeting KPIs, such as Productivity, Quality and Schedule related metrics, as well as other requirements and goals as defined by the Direct Line Manager through the goal-setting process. • Proactively escalates significant issues as appropriate to Direct Line Manager. • People management of the assigned team: periodical 1TO1, development or improvement plans – where applicable –, training, coaching, motivating. • Ensure all team members have the necessary assets and accesses to perform their day-to-day activities. • Accesses are regularly reviewed for Segregation of Duty conflicts. • Responsible for approving journal entries, account reconciliation, closing checklists. • Regularly monitor customer satisfaction. • Give feedback to colleagues about their performance. • Communicates daily and motivates the team. • Prepare the annual performance appraisal and provide frequent feedback to direct reports on their performance. • Prepare and comment the monthly KPI's for his/her respective area. • Provide Blackline or other tool administration support for GL Team members under direct responsibility. • Responsible of the successful induction and integration of the new joiner. • Focus on Continuous improvement drives process improvement initiatives and manages implementations. • Participates to floor walks for the customers & ensures team activities and achievements are well presented. • Manage the migration of new operations/activities/businesses to the BSC GL team. • Standardized process • Lead projects/process enhancements/process changes to increase the efficiency of the team activities and GL procedures • Participate in the recruitment process by conducting interviews and evaluating candidates.

Elvárások / Requirements

  • University or college degree is required, preferably finance/ accounting/economics.
  • Excellent English knowledge both oral and written form
  •  Several years of experience in the field of GL; minimal leadership experience 
  • Has been involved in the GL activities of few countries or business units within a bigger country.
  • Proved record of professional accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ownership and proactive attitude.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Put company goals and performance ahead of personal agenda.
  • Openness to change and ability to learn quickly.  
  • Customer-focused mindset.
