We are looking for a JUNIOR COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER on behalf of our partner, British American Tobacco Hungary. You will manage the execution of public relations strategies to reach corporate communications objectives. Work closely with Communications Manager on a strategic level, while managing projects operationally.

Pozíció leírása / Job description

• complete mastering of BAT corporate and THR (tobacco harm reduction) messages reviewing, correcting and in-house reconciliation of articles and other content
• coordinating the contents / updates of BAT.hu and the new THR site 
• correcting legal approvals and entries in Hungarian and English
• reconciliation of announcements and PR articles / checking of English-Hungarian versions
• project management and agency relations for events (3-5 events per year)
• supporting EU related  engagement activities
• participating in planning and management of advocacy campaigns, and grassroots mobilisation
• compiling and translating scientific evidence to support THR on the regulatory and PR agenda
• assisting in 3rd party engagement related to think tanks, NMA, PHAs and universities.
• supporting the implementation of ESG campaigns and the internal communication
• carrying out financial and administrative processes related to the projects
• preparation of project presentations, summaries, verification of reports
• supporting the training and development of trainees, reviewing their responsibilities

Elvárások / Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, MA degree preferred, preferably in a communications-related field of study
• Min. 2-3 years relevant work experience (either on agency or corporate side, on the field of communications or PR)
• Excellent verbal, written, analytical and organisational communication skills in English and Hungarian
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely
• Has excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills 
• Motivated, and able to work independently with limited supervision
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and multi-task and prioritise
• Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external partners
• Goal oriented problem-solving mindset
• Ability to think out of the box and come up with bold but responsible ideas
