As Global Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for executing global communications activities within the IT part of the business in a fast-moving, international environment. The role will see you working on a global scale, delivering communications for an audience based in Europe, North America, and Asia.

Aegon Global Technology Service (GTS) provides technology infrastructure support as well as business consulting services to Aegon USA, European enterprise, and business partners. The information technology services encompass regional services, enterprise-wide application services, architecture, product assessment, customer service, internet and messaging, server management, telecommunications, security, data service, and more.

You will provide a wide range of internal communication programs and activities directed at driving employee engagement, culture, and information exchange to employees and key stakeholders. This position will allow you to plan, coordinate, write and edit internal communications, change, and crisis communications, intranet content.

Pozíció leírása / Job description

Write, edit, and implement communications collateral and serve as the technical authority on all internal marketing, (mass) communications, and branding initiatives. You will spearhead communication support to corporate business units and channels, ensuring that employees are kept well informed about the business, company performance, the industry, health and wellness activities, corporate events, etc.

Content creation, corporate social media (LinkedIn/Yammer), blogging

Manage and maintain our corporate Intranet and the corporate social platform to meet the needs of internal stakeholders, in addition to maintaining and writing all divisional and

Departmental content, posting (daily) news communications, and leading system updates/ enhancements to meet emerging business needs.

Design campaigns to target specific audiences, placing an emphasis and discipline on campaign performance to help with recommendations for future programs.

Plan and manage content and strategy for large-scale events or big program announcements.

Ensure effective and timely tactical delivery of internal communications initiatives.

Build strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.

Support and build surveys in relation to internal customer-related content like for example

Annual internal customer surveys.

Be up-to-date at all times with the best internal communications practices and new trends. Contribute to new (agile) ways of working.

Elvárások / Requirements

We are looking for a smart, motivated, and enthusiastic communications professional with experience working in global organizations. Candidates can come from an internal or external communications background.

Moreover, you have the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree – English, Communications or Journalism with at least 3 years of experience in internal communications or equivalent of at least 3-5 years of experience in communications, or related field.

Strong communications skills with excellent (English) writing and editing abilities; experience in managing internal digital media projects and live events.

Ability to think and act proactively, take the initiative, and work as a strong, collaborative team player.

A highly positive attitude and an open mindset are a must!

Strong skills in project management or coordination and strong attention to detail.

Energy, commitment, and ability to maintain a sense of humor and perspective under pressure and changing priorities.

Self-starter; personally motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global, virtual work environment.

Experience in the IT industry is an advantage.
