At the core of their business is their patented technology that makes it possible to add, modify or remove features in compiled games to make them compatible with the requirements of any store without source code change. The technology does not require game developers to do any redevelopment work and does not require access to the game’s source code. It can enhance existing applications by adding features and functionality, such as gifting, in-app billing and several other solutions, primarily to drive revenue and user engagement.

Pozíció leírása / Job description

You will be an integral member of our client's Delivery team as a QA representative and will be working closely with team members from both our London and Budapest offices

You will take ownership of the QA tasks and processes in Delivery and be responsible for testing our flagship products and games to ensure they work flawlessly on a large number of devices and apps. You will work closely with other Delivery and QA team members to define and run complex test cases, potentially setup test automation and take a key role in making sure we can deliver the best billing, ads and analytics solutions to the biggest mobile games on the market.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Ownership of and responsibility for ensuring the delivered product and service meets agreed quality standards - managing QA processes and activities accordingly to ensure agreed objectives are met
  • Identifying and executing remedial action as and when required if deficiencies are identified in QA processes, ways of working or tools
  • Being a center of excellence inside the Delivery team and actively working on improving and optimising the QA aspect in that team
  • Participate in the ongoing testing efforts in the Delivery team as a dedicated tester and taking part of ongoing synchronisation with the whole QA team
  • Design test cases and test plans
  • Executing - or driving the execution of - test plans, raise and investigate bugs, validate the fixes
  • Prepare test systems and data to support easy execution of planned test cases
  • Coordinating day-to-day QA activities inside the Delivery team, training delivery managers on test cases and revisions thereof, initialize exploratory testing sessions if and when necessary
  • Coordinate with 3rd party testing teams if necessary
  • Provide management with QA reports demonstrating product quality and readiness for production
  • Participate in improving test coverage and reducing risk factors during the release of new games or game versions, identify new tools and ways of working
  • Work with the Delivery and QA teams to improve software delivery pipeline
  • Measure software quality and ensure it is maintained and improved over the lifetime of the product

Elvárások / Requirements

Essential Skills and Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in testing and / or software support role
  • Team management / lead qualities - being able to analyze, improve and take responsibility for the QA processes inside the Delivery team, coaching other team members on how to maintain good test coverage and high software quality
  • Experience using test case management tools and bug tracking software e.g. Jira, Testrail
  • Experience working with large and complex set of test cases
  • Previous experience from high-paced environments a strong plus


Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience in 1st and/or 2nd line product support
  • Experience with Android testing tools such as Espresso or UI Automator
  • Knowledge of Linux/UNIX and associated command line and scripting tools
  • Experience with basic level database management
