The service center in Budapest integrates fully the European financial-processing operations of the parent company and maintains its accounting services, credit, and collections management.

They are looking for an IT Desktop Support Analyst to their EMEA-wide End User Support Team.


Pozíció leírása / Job description

Responsible for the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of laptops and related systems i.e. printers, or arranging repair/replacement with Vendor;
Performs all installations, upgrades of supported S/W and H/W applications;
Troubleshooting hardware and software faults and assigning to relevant team if not in our scope;
Providing mobile device support;
Troubleshoots network problems when they relate to the desktop;
Responds to and resolves trouble tickets on a priority basis;
Proposes and implements solutions to routine problems with direction from supervisor;
Gathers information and/or data independently using established and well-defined procedures;
“On-boards” new hires by introducing them to Hardware, Software, and IT Policies;
Works as part of an EMEA-wide End User Support Team

Elvárások / Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent apprenticeship in the field of IT;
Minimum 1 year experience in Desktop support;
Application knowledge in the areas of Microsoft Office suites – Troubleshooting and Installing, providing advice on usage to users;
Operating Systems knowledge – Windows family – Troubleshooting and Installing;
General hardware and software knowledge in the areas of Personal Computers;
Working using a ticketing system on a priority basis;
General knowledge of computer networking – PC to network printer, server, VOIP etcs;
General knowledge of computer hardware – PC, Monitor, Printers;
General knowledge of mobile technology;
General knowledge of “ticketing systems” ie ServiceNow, Remedy;
