Our international client is looking for a motivated and dynamic Automation Software Engineer to join their team. Our partner is a strategic supplier to all restaurants, deploying in over 120 countries and over 37,500 locations worldwide. They provide software development, testing, deployment and support services for POS (point-of-sale) and related software applications that focus on the overall crew and customer experience, resulting in improved operations in the restaurants.

This role requires a holistic view of the system from both the customer and technical perspectives to ensure a successful, deployable product. In addition, the individual in this role will:

• Act as a subject matter expert on Point-Of-Sale (POS) providing technical guidance to varying audiences (e.g, BA, QA, and management). Collaborate with colleagues throughout the world regarding software quality.
• Develop automated testing programs using the latest platforms, both off the shelf and developed internally.
• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
• Discover, reproduce, and document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
• Apply testing processes and techniques, such as functional, structural, integration and System testing.
• Analyze and interpret requirements.
• Support development team to reproduce issues reported by the customer.
• Perform other duties as required.

Elvárások / Requirements

Required Education and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years related experience.
• A degree preferably in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Physics or other with logical and analytical background.
• Experience with an object-oriented programming language is a big plus (e.g. js, Java, C#)
• Experience with software technologies is good to have: HTML, XML, .NET, MS SQL
• Interest in scripting for realizing automated test cases
