We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Production Manager to join our partner's manufacturing facility.
The Production Manager will be responsible for managing and continuously improving all production activities, ensuring that products are manufactured safely, efficiently, on time, and in accordance with customer and quality requirements.

- Daily Operations: Manage all daily production activities to meet targets in quality, quantity, OEE, scrap reduction, and costs.
- Quality and Standards: Ensure strict compliance with automotive quality systems (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP) and drive root-cause analysis.
- Lean and Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work) to optimize cycle times, downtime, and material flow.
- People Leadership: Direct management, motivation, and development of supervisors, team leaders, and operators.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics, and Quality.
- Mandatory: Hungarian citizenship, fluent written/spoken English, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related).
- Experience and Leadership: Minimum 5 years of production management experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive).
- Technical and Process Knowledge: Strong grasp of production planning, manufacturing processes, operational performance management, and HSE requirements.
- Systems and Continuous Improvement: Proven experience with ERP/MRP reporting tools and Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, CI).
- Core Competencies: Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry and Quality Standards: Background in international manufacturing serving European automotive OEMs or Tier 1/2 suppliers; solid knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
- Advanced Tech and Languages: Experience with automation, robotics, or modern manufacturing tech, and proficiency in German.
