We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Architect to design, implement, and manage complex Microsoft 365 environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in tenant-to-tenant migrations, hybrid Active Directory (AD) and Exchange administration, and a strong working knowledge of Entra ID, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 security features. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can align technical solutions with business objectives while ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
Pozíció leírása / Job description- Architecture and Design: Develop and maintain Microsoft 365 architecture, ensuring optimal configuration for scalability, security, and performance across all workloads (AD, Entra, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
- Tenant-to-Tenant Migrations: Plan, execute, and manage complex tenant-to-tenant migrations, including data migration, user identity management, and service continuity, with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Hybrid AD and Exchange Administration: Manage and troubleshoot hybrid environments, including Entra Connect (formerly Azure AD Connect), on-premises Active Directory synchronization, and hybrid Exchange configurations.
- Entra ID Management: Configure and manage Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for identity and access management, including conditional access policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and role-based access control (RBAC).
- SharePoint Administration: Design, configure, and optimize SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, permissions, and integration with other Microsoft 365 services.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and manage Microsoft 365 security features, including Microsoft Defender for Office 365, data loss prevention (DLP), retention policies, and compliance frameworks to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration and Optimization: Work with stakeholders to assess business needs, recommend Microsoft 365 solutions, and optimize configurations to enhance productivity and collaboration.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 services, resolve complex technical issues, and act as an escalation point for support teams.
- Documentation and Training: Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, migration plans, and operational guides. Provide training and guidance to IT teams and end-users.
- Stay Current: Keep abreast of Microsoft 365 updates, new features, and best practices to ensure the organization leverages the latest capabilities.
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 architecture and administration.
- Proven track record of successfully leading tenant-to-tenant migrations in complex environments.
- Extensive experience managing hybrid AD and Exchange environments, including (Azure AD) Entra Connect and Exchange hybrid deployments.
- Hands-on experience with Entra ID configuration, including identity governance and security policies.
- Strong background in SharePoint Online administration and customization.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features, including Microsoft Defender, DLP, and compliance center tools.
- Progressive IT experience, ideally starting in roles such as a service desk agent, advancing to Level 2 and Level 3 support positions. This background demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of IT team operations, end-user support, and escalation processes, enabling effective collaboration and solution design within diverse IT environments.
