Our partner, which is the Hungarian subsidiary of a large international company, is looking for a Business Controller to join their team!

We're looking for a driven, analytically sharp finance leader to be the strategic partner for our commercial teams, transforming data into profitable business decisions. If you excel at driving growth, optimizing margins, and bridging the gap between finance and operations, this role is for you.

Pozíció leírása / Job description

• You will be the architect of their margin success. You'll design, own, and refine sophisticated financial models for pricing, contract profitability, and commercial investments, directly influencing our revenue strategy.
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with other departments to optimize deal structures, improve billing accuracy, reduce "cost-to-serve," and stop margin leakage.
• Take the lead on forecasting and budgeting cycles for all revenue and margin streams, ensuring every plan is grounded in rigorous financial standards (US GAAP/IFRS).
• Build and maintain detailed product and customer P&L dashboards, providing deep-dive profitability analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities, and presenting actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Review and approve non-standard customer contracts and deals, serving as the financial expert during  revenue recognition and risk mitigation.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement across all financial reporting, modelling, and ERP processes, ensuring the decision-makers have real-time, reliable visibility

Elvárások / Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related fields
• Fluent English
• 5-7+ years in commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering 
• Hands on experience in revenue processes and financial controls
• US GAAP or IFRS
