Our partner, who is the Hungarian subsidiary of a large international company is looking for experienced senior Controllers to join their team!
Pozíció leírása / Job description- Compile and deliver detailed monthly financial management reports.
- Conduct profit and loss analyses, highlighting key variances, while monitoring both operating and capital expenditures.
- Work closely with the Record-to-Report team to validate the accuracy of reported financial results.
- Oversee closing activities at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Maintain the consistency and reliability of the company’s chart of accounts.
- Collaborate with FP&A teams during annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
- Enforce and maintain adherence to established accounting standards and internal policies.
- Drive the use of unified templates, terminology, and reporting practices across all business units in the region.
- Prepare all necessary schedules and supporting documents for internal, statutory, and group-level audits.
- Spot areas where reporting can be streamlined and lead initiatives to optimize related processes.
- Support cash flow planning and assess working capital requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and assist in implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Champion the alignment and continuous improvement of financial close and reporting procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- A professional qualification (CPA, CIMA, ACCA) is strongly preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in controlling or a similar function.
- Fluency in English is required.
