As Payment Risk Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for establishing and scaling our fraud risk teams in Hungary and Bulgaria, owning end-to-end fraud operations, and building out robust processes and playbooks to prevent fraud and loss in a fast-paced, global environment.
Pozíció leírása / Job descriptionBuild and lead regional fraud risk teams from scratch, including recruitment, training, and team development.
Develop and implement fraud strategies and playbooks to detect and prevent threats like ID theft, social engineering, and bot attacks.
Design risk procedures that support new and existing products and ensure alignment with customer experience.
Create a culture of fraud prevention excellence, coaching high-performing investigators and managing daily operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align fraud operations with business goals and influence risk thinking across the company.
Monitor risk trends and lead escalations and investigations while continuously improving fraud controls.
5+ years’ experience in fraud risk operations, including team leadership
Strong strategic, analytical, and operational skills
Proven ability to build and scale fraud risk programs in a global environment
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and stakeholder management
Hands-on, proactive mindset—willing to roll up your sleeves when needed
BA/BS degree required (MBA or CIPFA certification a plus)
Fluent English; knowledge of crypto, FinTech, or digital payments is a bonus
