Our partner is looking for their newest colleague for an Indirect Buyer position at their modern manufacturing plant in the heart of the Mátra, where they offer an innovative and sustainable work environment.
Pozíció leírása / Job description- Manage sourcing and purchasing operations for essential plant supplies, technical equipment, and facility contractors
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate favorable vendor terms, and partner with internal teams to hit annual purchasing goals
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships and monitoring vendor performance
- Maintain complete purchasing documentation and generate reports for management in compliance with internal governance standards
- Support process automation and e-procurement initiatives to improve data accuracy in our ERP systems
- Sserve as the primary plant contact for indirect purchasing needs, collaborating closely across maintenance, engineering, and finance departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent practical experience
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement (manufacturing preferred) with experience sourcing technical products, negotiating contracts, and driving cost savings
- Familiarity with purchasing principles, ability to read technical specs, and solid MS Excel skills
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems is a strong plus
- High integrity, cost-conscious mindset, strong negotiation skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
