This position acts as a specialized bridge between the company’s shipping locations and external carriers. The focus is on verifying that the services provided by freight forwarders match the agreed-upon rates and internal records, ensuring that the logistics costs are booked accurately.
Pozíció leírása / Job description● Invoice Verification: Checking shipping invoices from freight forwarders against internal shipping data to ensure accuracy before payment.
● Dispute Management: Clarifying and resolving any price or quantity differences between the carriers and the company’s various shipping hubs.
● Claims Handling: Processing credit note claims.
● Financial Record Keeping: Initiating and correcting bookings in the system.
● Data Accuracy: Adjusting statistics to ensure management reports on shipping volumes and costs remain reliable.
Elvárások / Requirements● Education: High school diploma or a Bachelor’s degree (BA).
● Experience: Minimum of 1.5-2 years of professional experience in a commercial or purchasing environment.
● Background: Solid knowledge of purchasing processes, particularly contract management and data maintenance, or experience in commercial/office operations.
● Languages: High-level proficiency in German and English.
● Software: Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP or TransFlow is a significant advantage.
● Conflict Resolution: Ability to adapt and reach agreements through flexibility and compromise when dealing with external partners.
● Proactive Approach: A mindset focused on knowledge sharing to drive operational efficiency across different organizational units.
