We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our team in Újhartyán (Pest County). In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring financial planning, actuals, and reporting excellence for our assigned business units.
Pozíció leírása / Job descriptionFinancial Control & Closing: Provide accruals and provisions for journal entries, manage fixed asset registration, and resolve escalated reconciliation issues (GL/sub-ledgers)
Planning & Forecasting: Act as the primary point of contact for budget holders, prepare planning figures, perform sanity checks on deviations, and manage data uploads in SAP/BW
Local Compliance: Safeguard accounting and reporting for local legal entities, prepare tax returns and local financial statements, and support IFRS reconciliations
Audit & Master Data: Act as the main contact for external auditors and ensure the total correctness and completeness of Master Data for assigned entities
Leadership: Provide professional guidance to local financial control employees and manage the compliance calendar
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Being a Registered Chartered Accountant is a must
Experience: Up to 5 years of experience in various finance roles within a multinational environment
Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of SAP R3 is required.
Languages: Active, professional fluency in both English and Hungarian
Mindset: A precise, proactive, and responsible attitude with a strong focus on external stakeholders and a willingness to learn
