We are seeking a high-impact Finance Professional for a multinational manufacturing facility located in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County!
Pozíció leírása / Job description- Financial Advisory & Analysis: Provide proactive decision support to leadership; independently evaluate financial forecasts, business proposals, and quotes while identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Profitability & Working Capital Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in Core Operating Income and Working Capital metrics by thoroughly analyzing and leveraging their underlying drivers.
- Operational KPI Oversight: Collaborate closely with the Plant Finance Controller and operational teams to review KPIs, ensuring manufacturing performance is accurately measured across all business and product lines.
- Planning & Strategy: Actively contribute to current-quarter targets, as well as the formulation and execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Term Plan (LTP).
- Cost Structure Rationalization: Challenge existing cost structures and provide modeling expertise to operational teams to help identify and capture cost-reduction opportunities.
- Commercial Support & Decision Analysis: Offer financial oversight for customer and vendor contract negotiations, build comprehensive business cases, and perform sensitivity analyses.
- Supply Chain & Process Improvement: Support supply chain initiatives to enhance material margins and working capital; consistently identify ways to add value to internal processes and systems.
- Variance Analysis & Training: Educate and support Business Unit, Functional, and Operational Managers on financial targets, key metrics, and variance analysis.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience within the finance function of a multinational manufacturing company.
- Education & Expertise: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; strong commercial acumen; working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX requirements.
- Technical & Language Skills: Advanced MS Excel capabilities; business-fluent English (Hungarian language proficiency is not required).
- Key Competencies: Excellent analytical and influencing skills, strong accountability, effective communication at all levels, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
