We are looking for Medior and Senior Accountants for our client who is one of the largest providers of life insurance in Hungary.
The job holder will be responsible for the accounting of complex transactions typically associated with advanced accounting such as verifying the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various reconciliations; processing and summarizing financial transactions.
Pozíció leírása / Job description- Manage monthly accounting processes for accuracy and clarity in financial records.
- Perform reconciliations to ensure seamless data flow from source to ledger.
- Analyze financial data to resolve discrepancies and uphold precision.
- Safeguard core system integrity and compliance with policies.
- Review daily activity results and address queries confidently.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve process exceptions efficiently.
- Respond promptly to management and department requests.
- Troubleshoot issues with expertise and efficiency.
- Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements for greater efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks.
- Contribute to projects comparing data sets for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent education/experience.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience, with degree.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of accounting, for example preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, etc.
- Knowledge of investment vehicles for example, bonds, mortgage loans, derivatives, etc.
- Customer-oriented with demonstrated communication skills both orally and written.
- Experience with collaborative problem solving with others.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Deadline driven with the ability to multi-task and work effectively individually and within a team.
