Privacy policy for candidates

The reason and legal basis for the collection of data

Randstad is a human resources service for temporary, permanent jobs and recruitment, your personal data will be collected for this reason, during the search period. The registration number for the data is: 05408-0001.  

The basis for the data collection is your personally given agreement.

By giving your data by whatever means, you confirm that your personal data will be handled according to this privacy policy and the governing laws at the time of the data collection, including the freedom and autonomy of information laws of 2011./CXII (hereinafter referred to as Infotv).

In the case of a job offer, our colleagues can contact you through the contacts you have given us.

We will send a newsletter to your e-mail that will include job offers personalized for your education, needs and talent. The newsletter will also include ads from Randstad itself. You can always cancel the newsletter by clicking the unsubscribe button at the end of the letter, or you can send your unsubscription demand to helpdesk@randstad.hu.

The data handling

The data controller is Randstad Hungary Személyzeti Közvetítő és Szolgáltató Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (e-mail: helpdesk@randstad.hu; seat: 1024 Budapest, Lövőház utca 39. 2. em.; company registry: 01-09-729305; as handled by the Budapest Company Court [Fővárosi Törvényszék Cégbírósága]; website: https://www.randstad.hu).

The handled data

Our data handling includes the personal data of the candidates:

a. ID data (name, birthplace and date, nationality)

b. contacts (e-mail, address, phone number)

c. knowledge of language, education, work experience, interests, plans and skills

d. curriculum vitae

e. user name, password

f. other information that you shared with us or we have received via third party (eg. referees, partners)

In the case of an actual job offer, you might have to give additional data pertinent to the job offer.

Sensitive data (ie. data about your health, personal life or criminal history) can only be collected in the case of an actual job offer and by an explicit consent given personally by you. We do not take responsibility for sensitive data given to us without actual demand (ie in your online CV). So please, do not put sensitive data in your CV.

Once we establish and maintain an employment, staffing or placement relationship with you, we use the data you provided to us, to comply with laws and regulations, including but not limited to employment law, tax and social security and national and international sanctions regulation compliance. For the purposes mentioned above Randstad Hungary Kft. may transfer your personal data to other Randstad entities that provide services on behalf of Randstad Hungary Kft.

The website www.randstad.hu will automatically collect the IP address and the start of the visit of the visiting computer, and in some cases (depending on the visiting computer) the type of the browser and operating system and the geographic location of the visiting computer according to the IP address. The data collected this way cannot be matched to any personal data and only serves statistical purposes.

 We reserve the right to place data files (cookies) on your computer.

The sources of the data

Personal data handled by us can come from these sources:

a. Personal data provided by you during registration. Data providing for Randstad is completely volunteer.

b. Your public data (ie. Facebook, LinkedIn).

c. Data given to a third party, if you allowed transmission. If your data was provided by a third party, we will notify you, and if you disagree with the process, your data will be destroyed. We can also take date from registries where you have submitted your data in the hope of finding a job, with the knowledge of the data transmission.

Data access

We will provide your personal data to clients offering jobs or will transmit it in the case of an actual job offer.

In these cases, sometimes we will have to transmit your data abroad, to countries where the protection of privacy is not monitored by the EU. These data can be only transmitted with your special consent and after you are properly informed.

Your data is only seen by our administrator colleagues and if your profile is transmitted or becomes available by employees of the job offering clients.

Duration of the data handling

You can cancel our permission to use your personal data anytime by sending an e-mail to a helpdesk@randstad.hu. To confirm the cancellation, an e-mail will be sent to you to the given address.

We store your personal data for 2 years from the date of registration.

Data processors

For technological aspects of the data handling, we use the services provided by data processors, who are:

·        Carerix Netherlands (Rotterdamseweg 183 C, 2629 HD Delft, Hollandia), database handling

·        Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) mail and hosting

·        Amazon (410 Terry Avenue North Seattle, Washington 98109-5210 USA) server hosting

·        Bit Agency B.V. (Vordingstraat 25, 6644 BG Ewijk, The Netherlands) webhosting      

Data security

Randstad handles your personal data with care and takes all organizational and technical measures to secure your data according to the governing laws.

In agreement with this, your data is secured from unauthorized access, change, publication, destruction or deletion. It is also protected from accidental destruction and/or harm, or the end of accessibility because of a change in technology.

Your rights in data handling

You can always ask for information about the handling of your data. You can ask to change, delete, correct or close your data and you are always permitted to cancel our permission to handle or use your data in its entirety or in some parts. For this, please send an e-mail to helpdesk@randstad.hu.

You can always modify, correct or delete your data using your registration name and password.

Legal redress because of data mishandling is done in accordance with the Infotv. We have to inform you that if you find Randstad to be irresponsible of your data handling, you can ask for the help of the National Data and Information Freedom Bureau (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi Információszabadság Hatóság [address: 1537 Budapest, Pf. 834.; cím: 1125 Budapest, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22/c; e-mail: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu; telephone: +36 (1) 391-1400; website: http://www.naih.hu]), or you can turn to your local court for unlawful data process in accordance with § 22 of the Infotv.
