As the Global Process Owner, you will take full end-to-end accountability for the global I2P process and operational ownership of the I2P tower within our GBS. You will act as the vital bridge between strategic finance/procurement, IT, and GBS service delivery, driving automation, touchless processing, and an outstanding supplier experience.

Define, enforce, and continuously evolve global I2P process standards and policies (invoice handling, payment terms, approval matrix, PO compliance).
Develop and steer the global I2P process roadmap, aligning cross-functionally with IT, Procurement, Treasury, and adjacent GPOs (S2C, R2R).
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like touchless rate, first-time-right, cycle time, DPO, and on-time payment to derive data-driven corrective actions.
Operational & Tower Management:
Own daily I2P operations in the GBS (invoice intake, validation, 2-/3-way match, approval workflows, posting, and payment release).
Lead, mentor, and develop the performance of the I2P tower team (objective setting, training, enablement).
Ensure SLA achievement, manage escalation paths, and lead root-cause analysis to eliminate recurring exceptions.
Serve as the central point of contact for internal/external audits, tax authorities, and compliance/ICS topics.
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in I2P / Accounts Payable, including proven leadership experience in a GBS/SSC environment.
Process Expertise: Deep end-to-end knowledge of the I2P cycle, modern AP automation tools, and adjacent financial interfaces.
Compliance Know-how: Strong understanding of invoice compliance, VAT/tax requirements, e-invoicing mandates, Segregation of Duties (SoD), and internal controls.
Project Mindset: Experience in international transformation, system rollouts, and change management.
Leadership & Communication: Exceptional communication, data-driven problem-solving, and a supplier-centric mindset.
Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of German is a distinct plus.
Mobility: Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
