Our partner is looking for their newest colleague for a Head of Process Engineering position at their modern manufacturing plant in the heart of the Mátra, where they offer an innovative and sustainable work environment.

• Design, optimize, and standardize production processes, including aluminum forming, trimming, washing, coating/curing, printing, and necking/flanging

• Translate product specifications into stable production processes

• Evaluate manufacturing feasibility during the design phase and translate product specifications into stable processes

• Configure production lines for sample trials and lead the production ramp-up to stable mass production

• Monitor production efficiency and equipment uptime, implement lean methodologies, reduce scrap rates/production losses, and minimize production costs per unit

• Identify root causes of process issues, define equipment requirements, and support the commissioning of new machinery

• Partner with Product Development on Design for Manufacturability and support Sales/Customers during line compatibility discussions and technical problem-solving

 

Elvárások / Requirements

• Strong background in manufacturing or process engineering, ideally within the aluminum packaging, can making, or metal forming industry

• Proven expertise in managing multi-stage technical processes 

• Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process capability and Root Cause Analysis methods

• A collaborative mindset capable of cross-functional synergy with Sales, Quality, Production, and Product Development teams

• Excellent technical communication skills for selective, high-impact customer interactions

• Strong English and Hungarian language skills
