You will join a dynamic, close-knit local team operating as part of an established international industrial group. The Head of Finance & Administration serves as the central integrator of the finance function, directly guiding a small, dedicated team. In this hands-on leadership role, you will work closely with daily operational details while acting as the key interface bridging local management, global corporate functions, and strategic external partners
Pozíció leírása / Job description- Operational Leadership: Lead and work alongside a small team, taking full hands-on ownership of accurate, compliant, and timely financial operations, accounting, local tax returns, and annual audits in accordance with Hungarian GAAP and IFRS.
- Group Reporting & Performance: Prepare monthly management reviews, supervise production cost and pricing analyses, and oversee routine group and statutory reporting.
- Strategic Project Finance: Serve as the financial lead for a large-scale EPC capital investment project, coordinating contractor agreements, managing intercompany financing drawdowns, and overseeing state grant compliance and drawdowns.
- Treasury & Systems Development: Manage liquidity, review daily treasury operations, collaborate with external advisors on tax strategies, and drive digital process efficiencies across internal management systems.
- Education & Experience: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, combined with 5+ years of leadership and hands-on experience in Accounting and/or Controlling.
- Technical Expertise & Languages: Strong knowledge of Hungarian tax regulations and accounting standards, native/fluent Hungarian alongside high-level English proficiency, and experience leveraging AI applications in professional daily workflows.
