On behalf of our partner, Skechers, we are looking for a Financial Accountant with Serbian OR Croatian language knowledge to join their team based in Budapest or Subotica. In this role, you will play a key part in carrying out international financial and accounting processes with precision, supported by a stable and dynamically growing corporate background.
Pozíció leírása / Job description- perform balance sheet reconciliations, profit & loss (P&L) analyses, and revenue/expense reviews
- carry out intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- prepare monthly forecasting reports, sales analyses, and variance analyses
- conduct cost center reviews and multi-currency bank account reconciliations
- calculate and post periodic general ledger journal entries (GL Journals)
- prepare and submit manual Intrastat and EC Sales declarations
- participate in year-end audit preparations and internal audits
- support the Financial Director with reporting, data requests, and process improvement projects
- at least 2-3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience (SSC or international environment experience is an advantage)
- higher education degree in Finance/Accounting (BSc/MSc) OR Chartered/Certified Accountant qualification
- business fluency in English AND Serbian OR Croatian
- advanced MS Excel skills (knowledge of Oracle Cloud, SAP, or other ERP systems is a plus)
- excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
