You will be joining their globally distributed Legal, Risk, and Compliance (LRC) department as the 5th member of a tight-knit contracting team. This department acts as a strategic enabler for the business. Instead of acting as a traditional, rigid legal gatekeeper, the team partners closely with the global Sales force (250+ people) to drive commercial growth, mitigate risks, and ensure smooth and efficient deal closures across multiple time zones.
Pozíció leírása / Job descriptionIndependently draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of international commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), bespoke terms and conditions, Order Forms, and public procurement contracts.
Act as the primary legal and commercial point of contact for the Sales team. Guide them through the contracting process, from daily standard agreements to highly complex, customized deals.
Proactively identify legal and commercial risks. Confidently articulate these risks to senior stakeholders and propose pragmatic, "out-of-the-box" solutions or fallback positions to get deals done safely.
Work seamlessly with internal departments-including Finance, Compliance, Product, and IT-to ensure all contracts align with internal policies and business objectives.
Identify recurring negotiation bottlenecks to improve internal templates and playbooks. Ensure accurate tracking and management of the contract lifecycle using CLM systems (e.g., Ironclad).
University degree in Law
3 to 5 years of proven experience in an in-house corporate legal or commercial contracting role. (Law firm background is acceptable if you possess a highly commercial, flexible mindset).
A strong track record of independently negotiating and closing complex B2B commercial contracts.
Outstanding, negotiation-level English skills (both written and verbal) are mandatory.
You are solution-oriented, pragmatic, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You are comfortable making risk-based decisions with minimal supervision.
Advantages : Previous experience in the Tech/SaaS/Data sectors, familiarity with public procurement, or experience using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools.
