Our partner is looking for an Alternative Investment Operations Analyst to join their Global Operations department in Budapest. You will support the operational backbone of the firm’s private and alternative investment portfolios. The role ensures the accurate, timely, and risk-controlled execution of investment activities while maintaining high-quality data standards. You will act as a central coordinator between investment teams, custodians, fund administrators, and technology partners to ensure seamless end-to-end processing.
Pozíció leírása / Job descriptionAs a key member of the Alternative Investments team, you will:
- Oversee the integrity of investment data and support complex transaction workflows for private and alternative assets
- Contribute to strategic operational projects and collaborate with leadership to enhance the global operating model
- Design, test, and implement new processes and system enhancements to drive departmental efficiency
- Partner with Portfolio Management, Legal, and Risk teams to establish protocols for new product launches and service enhancements
- Act as a primary liaison for external partners including custodians, fund administrators, and tax advisors to resolve operational issues
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls and external regulations, representing the department in audits
- Develop and maintain comprehensive operational policies and procedures to ensure best practices
- Proactively identify operational risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the enterprise
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Financial Services, specifically within Asset Management or Hedge Funds
- Direct experience in Alternative Investment operations (portfolio or trade support) is required
- In-depth knowledge of securities reference data and data management
- Proven track record in implementing data operations standards and quality practices
- Strong ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with a genuine interest in investment processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
