We are seeking a Purchasing manager for EMEA region for Budapest location.

Manages a small Procurement Team supporting annual transactional indirect purchases
Participates in the sourcing and supplier qualification process for new suppliers
Conducts negotiations for assigned supply base
Participates in the Supplier AVL development, preparing data for monitoring Supplier Performance based upon transactions conducted
Participates in Supplier visits or audits as requested
Supports Commodity Managers as needed
Minimal supervision required
Creates goals and objectives for the team in alignment with business needs
Capable of managing a small to medium sized team, disparate resources and small project teams
Able to interact within all levels of the Management and supplier levels of management. Capable of giving clear direction to teams and suppliers
Responsible for buying indirect materials, parts, supplies, services and equipment in a timely and cost effective manner, meeting quality and best pricing for the company
Participate in, and in some cases lead contract negotiations for assigned suppliers and indirect commodities and categories
Responsible and accountable for accurate master data in the ERP system
Participate in Continuous Improvement activities as assigned
Selecting, developing and managing talent in support of the business needs
Elvárások / Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance, Engineering, Chemistry, Supply Chain Management, or related field
MBA or Masters of Finance, Engineering preferred
APICS, ISM, or Project Management Certification preferred
5+ years of Purchasing or Procurement experience in production or commodity goods
Negotiation skills required
1-3+ years of experience in supervisory or management experience or a leadership role in Managing project teams
Experience in a regulated industry preferred
GMP or equivalent Quality System experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. French and / or German language knowledge is an advantage
SAP knowledge and experience
