The candidate would join our partner's international product team working on a Vancouver-based pilot training web application. The product, in which they need to fix legacy issues, is a .NET-based legacy. The mid-term (next 6-12 months) plan is to port the whole system to a modern web stack (most probably Angular & Node.js but it is not decided yet). A desirable candidate would have experience in .NET and a modern web stack as well. A few days a week, the successful candidate would need to overlap with the Vancouver schedule, which means some meetings could be outside of the regular office hours (not after 8 pm). In the first few months, the position would require more flexibility from the candidate to support the ramp-up process.
