The Senior Manager of Financial Shared Services EMEA & APAC is accountable for driving results in a fast-paced environment by managing and coordinating the activities and operations of the shared services functions, such as accounts payable, billing and accounts receivable, cash application, and collections. The Senior Manager is responsible for working closely with the Finance EMEA & APAC team and the Senior Director Global Shared Services for the centralization, standardization, and implementation of organization-wide finance policies, processes and services in a cost-efficient manner as it relates to the EMEA & APAC regions.

  • Collaborate cross functionally to address any particular transactional impact on the financials, and ensure it is appropriately documented for the EMEA and APAC regions
  • Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities in the Finance Department on a global level; recommend and implement resulting policies and procedures
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for improving methods, procedures, resource needs; implementing improvements to ensure best practices are being employed on a global level
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing process; monitors, reviews and approves closing transactions and journal entries as it relates to the EMEA and APAC regions
  • Coordinate and contribute to the production of reports (1099s, sales and use tax, aging, audit) required by Federal, State and local taxation authorities
  • Serve as point of contact for the EMEA & APAC general ledger system, working with cross-functional teams (IT, procurement, finance, etc.) to find resolution to any issues or questions
  • Manage a team of eight individuals across the Accounts Payable, Billing and Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications and Collections functions
  • Ensure DSO and DPO goals are met
  • Monitor the cash collection process and cash application process are running as efficiently and effectively as possible
  • Assist with cash, cash flow projections and control
  • Other duties as assigned

Elvárások / Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • 7-10 years of accounting/finance experience
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Experience leading shared service organizations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite, Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to present complex topics in a clear and concise manner to audiences at various levels of the business
  • Understanding of business process and system analysis, including root cause analysis and other process modeling and systems design methodologies
  • Ability to work interactively, proactively, and influence across all levels of the organization
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multitask to meet internal deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Masters degree or CA preferred
