Randstad Employer Brand Research is the world’s most comprehensive and in-depth independent employer brand research, identifying the most attractive employers from among thousands of companies. The study gathers the opinions of nearly 171,000 respondents aged 18–64 regarding 4,252 companies across 34 markets. In Hungary, 7,883 people participated in the study. The analysis provides insight into the criteria and motivations of potential employees when choosing a workplace. The survey, which has been conducted since 2000, was carried out by Randstad’s international research partner, Kantar. The current survey was conducted in January 2026. Based on the survey results, the Randstad Awards are presented each year to the most attractive employers.

13th Randstad Award VIP Event

The 13th edition of the event took place on May 7, 2026, where we presented the Hungarian results of the Randstad Employer Brand Research—the world’s largest independent employer brand survey—and announced the 2026 national winners of the Randstad Award. Just like in previous years, employers in the IT sector are the most attractive in Hungary this year, followed by the business services sector (BSS) and the life sciences sector.

The survey shows that the ranking of the most important factors influencing workplace choice in Hungary has remained almost unchanged compared to recent years. For respondents, an attractive salary remains the most important factor.

In this year’s study, we assessed the employer brands of companies operating in Hungary. We examined the 150 largest companies by headcount, as well as an additional 146 firms, across 14 sectors, ranging from the automotive industry to the service sector. The list can be viewed here.
