We are looking for an Product Owner to be part of their team.

We are looking to take on a Product Owner to play a key part in the development of their products, supporting and maintaining an agile delivery team by translating product vision and roadmap into requirements. Being able to prioritise requirements, to build iteratively, to test out new features or improvements, and support rapid releases. 

As a Product Owner you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process from building out features and implementing them with your development team, through to the launch process and defining and monitoring success KPIs.

We are looking for some with experience working in an agile, cross functional delivery team. Experience in ecommerce platforms, website building and content management systems would be ideal but not mandatory. If you have a mind that balances technical, commercial and user needs, and you embrace cross-discipline collaboration, then you’ll love it there.

Key responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain a sanitised list of backlog items and prioritize them based on the overall strategy and business objectives.
  • Streamline the execution of product/feature priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team.
  • Own the short-term direction for the product (i.e. empowered to make decisions affecting immediate implementations). 
  • Desire and ability to work with UX to actively identify customer insights to ensure the product is the best it can be, through user testing and research initiatives.
  • Works closely with UX and technical lead to break down the high-level features into user stories and create a backlog of small product increments for the development team
  • Input into medium/long term direction of the product with the Product Managers.
  • Facilitate workshops to capture requirements at all levels of detail.
  • Use a range of techniques to document and communicate business requirements in a way that is meaningful to the business and product development teams.
  • Lead product feature ‘showcase’ sessions to the business that highlight and demonstrate the features in development.
  • Take ownership for the UAT process for each product feature.
  • Juggle the triangle of scope, budget, and time, weighing priorities according to the needs and objectives of stakeholders.
  • Play a key role throughout each event, including planning, refinement, review, and sprint; Inspect and evaluate product progress through each iteration.
  • Work closely with the development team (onshore and offshore) to ensure requirements are understood, and provide a fast, dynamic feedback loop for queries and changes.
  • Be an ambassador for Product Management and Development within the business.
  • Work with third party suppliers to scope third-party solutions and integration work where applicable

Elvárások / Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years working on Product teams that have successfully launched and supported consumer-facing software.
  • Minimum 3 years Agile experience, in industry.
  • Experience in SDLC (software development lifecycle).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & training skills.
  • Experience working with local and remote teams.
  • Inquisitiveness and drive to learn and develop.
  • Experience of working with customer data would be an advantage.
  • Proven track record of on-time delivery of projects
