Our partner is a European market leader in base chemicals, fertilizers and they are looking for a motivated Treasury Officer colleague to join their team in Budapest.

As a treasury officer you handle different tasks such as the daily cash management, treasury back office, payment factory, collection factory and internal bank operations for the whole group.

Pozíció leírása / Job description

You will support us in the following tasks:

organise, execute and settle daily third party payments of the Group with our main banks, through our payment factory set-up, electronic banking channels, swift, treasury management system and SAP
organise, execute and settle daily all intercompany payments of the Group via SAP Internal Bank
run daily accounting operations for payment factory, collection factory and internal bank in SAP (bank statements, zero balancing, payments and collections, bank charges, internal settlements and internal bookings. You check and reconcile all bookings.)
run and optimise the Daily Treasury Back Office activities: upload bank statements, treasury accounts reconciliation, verify deals, bank confirmations, netting and settlements, maintain static data, claims handling, reporting, controlling
you are responsible for other daily operations such as direct debits, interest calculations, LCR, RIBA, etc.
participate in the daily Groups liquidity forecast and in daily and monthly reporting to ensure optimal service and quality level
you will have daily contact with the banks and their back-offices, and the internal stakeholders (finance, HR, sales)

Elvárások / Requirements

Preferably 2 years of experience in the field of treasury
University degree in Finance or Economics
Experience in the financial world or affinity with accounting is an asset but not a must
Fluent in English at business level, both spoken and written. German and/or French is an advantage
We appreciate a positive mindset towards digitalisation, as you will work with different IT systems (MS Office, SAP, bank systems, treasury management tools)
