- Coordination and planning of the entire process with regard to optimal capacity utilization and material supplyovation management
- Early detection of capacity problems and initiation of measures to avoid bottlenecks
- Analyses and evaluations in relation to the supply chain, preparation of statistics and reporting
- Development of KPIs in the area of supply chain planning
- Close cooperation with Production Planning / Order Management
- Development of new working methodologies, tools, analyses and systems for scheduling and resource management
- Continuous development of forecast models and implementation of S&OP processes
- Continuous analysis of scheduling settings and identification of structural change needs
- Training of schedulers and resource managers on new methodologies and tools
- Support for strategic concepts and uniform planning strategies
- Establishment and further development of disposition controlling (stock levels, delivery times, framework agreements, backlog analyses)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor’s degree; in Engineering, Business or a Supply Chain/Operations discipline preferred
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, with preference of demand planning functions such as materials management, inventory planning, purchasing, or S&OP planning
- Experience working in environments such as manufacturing or engineered products preferred
- Supply Chain Management experience in the manufacturing industry a plus
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required, experience with different SAP systems (R3 / S4)
