In this role, you will be responsible to develop and maintain the existing Linux-based cryptography solutions, certify new versions, and maintain the vulnerabilities.

You will be responsible to define and influence key security strategy initiatives and deliver security solutions that will adhere to all enterprise security requirements with the potential to influence industry-wide roadmaps.

The group you will be working for has the freedom of choosing the right asset for the task, also to build software from scratch, and to build the operating stack for that software. Your teammates will have a social, result-oriented, and helpful attitude.

As a Senior Linux Engineer, you will

Identify opportunities to automate and standardize information security controls and for the supported groups.
Certifying Key Management Systems and Crypto applications and providing Engineering support.
Create automated testing solutions, review, and validate results and prioritize actions that resolve issues based on overall risk.
Reduce risk by analyzing the root cause of issues, their impact, and required corrective actions
Work with other engineering and developer teams in various system integration projects
Work with business partners on crypto and HSM-related requests
Holds the ownership of multiple products and shares the knowledge of the product with the teammates and helps them to fully understand procedures, best practices, and standards.

Elvárások / Requirements

The candidate must be familiar with information security concepts and the Linux operating system.

Ideal background

University / College degree in any STEM area or equivalent industry/technology knowledge
5+ years of experience in technology and information security.
Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks to deploy and configure IT systems (e.g., Salt, Ansible)
Deep knowledge of the Linux operating system (RHEL/Ubuntu) and a strong security mindset.
Administration level knowledge of Oracle, Cassandra, and MongoDB databases is a plus
Work with and understand regulatory and risk management requirements
Ability to define deadlines internally and externally and tracking them in multiple projects.

Nice to have:

Any experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Any experience with Hardware Security Module
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell)
