Our Client is a globally leading manufacturer of presses and coating lines for surfaces in several industries. The company sets up a new green-field production plant in Debrecen where we are looking for their Plant Manager.

Pozíció leírása / Job description

• To lead, oversee and provide direction to the plant operation with approx. 50 employees
• Development and implementation of a planning and logistics concept to increase efficiency in production
• Development and further development of the continuous improvement process (CIP) to increase added value, reduce throughput time and ensure the highest quality
• Close coordination with construction and purchasing departments to ensure optimal shop floor management
• Budget responsibility for the entire production-related area and the derivation of the resulting investment plans
• Representation of corporate interests
• Ensuring quality and delivery reliability
• Ensuring the timely processing of assembly orders
• Analysis of the entire production process and improvement of quality, lead time, capacity and cost
• Establishment and implementation of sustainable production controlling as well as the division of measures in cooperation with the know-how carriers and interfaces
• Planning and coordinating the resources required for timely and quality production in collaboration with the masters
• Ensuring the optimal qualification of the team, conducting employee reviews
• Inform and motivate teams and develop team spirit

Elvárások / Requirements

• Completed studies (MA of BA) in the field of engineering, preferably mechanical engineering
• Minimum 5 years of overall manufacturing experience in a leadership role, including responsibility for P&L, safety, quality, talent development, production, financial and inventory management
• Experience in the implementation of continuous improvement processes in production
• Experience with ERP system
• Strong business understanding
• Self-initiative, teamwork and assertiveness, structured work style
• Track record of building a high-performing team to succeed in a growth-oriented atmosphere
• Willingness to take responsibility and a high degree of assertiveness and organizational skills
• High motivation, empathy and situational leadership style
• Fluent English & Hungarian knowledge is a must, German is an advantage
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
