Our partner is a market leading multinational company in the automotive industry. With creative technological development, their goal is to revolutionize the battery cell production for electric cars. They are looking for a Quality Manager to lead their customer quality team.
Pozíció leírása / Job descriptionAs a Quality Manager you will be responsible for developing quality-process links with customers (IATF 16949, VDA), creating and implementing best practice strategy and policy as well as developing and managing KPIs within your area of responsibility. Your other tasks will include:
- Ensure that the quality core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan) are properly embedded in the quality processes.
- Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies
- Set department goals (KPIs) to maintain an optimal performance level within the team
- Ensure KPIs are met by reviewing, assessing and managing the ongoing performance of people reporting directly to you
- Ensuring adequate staffing levels
- Lead, motivate and coach the team to operational success - achieve quality targets for both customer and business goals
- Work as part of the management team, share ideas to improve the operation by recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and processes
The ideal candidate has:
- Manufacturing or engineering degree
- Management experience of automotive industry
- Significant experience in a high volume manufacturing environment in automotive sector (IATF 16949, VDA)
- Excellent communication, organization and follow-up skills
- The ability to solve problems, plan ahead and lead a team, while maintaining a steady performance
- Fluent English and Hungarian language knowledge
