Pozíció leírása / Job description- Works closely with their customer, functional business units, and software developers to administer the customer’s system to accomplish the operation
- Provision and operation of customer’s system
- Current upkeep, care, maintenance, and upgrades
- Analysis and removal of occurring problems according to documentation
- Performing backups and restores
- Constant communication with involved units and partners
- Reporting
- Min. 1 year of experience with Linux systems
- IP networking, virtualization, and backup systems experience
- Basic knowledge of SAN, FC, and storage systems
- Work experience with server hardware
- Excellent English skills (verbal & written)
- Stress-resistant, team player, ready to work in shifts
Nice to have:
- Oracle and Application Servers are desirable
- German skills
- Previous experience in working according to ITIL-based processes and functions
- A bachelor's degree is an advantage
