...- Leading the Hungary software team, providing clear guidance, direction and actionable
outcomes to technical stream leads. - Clear and early communication where required with escalation to the Software Engineering
Manager (in Australia) of critical issues impacting program execution. - Providing accurate, reliable, evidence based situational updates to the Software Engineering
Manager on software deliverables to schedule. - Monitor progress and support teams to deliver the as required outcomes.
- Through regular check-ins with Software Engineering Manager, ensure work efforts in
Hungary office are in line with company directives. - Consulting with stakeholders and software developers to determine software solution
requirements. - Evaluating software solutions and system performance, as well as supervising the software
development teams. - Providing guidance, technical leadership and mentoring of more junior software engineers
- Overseeing day-to-day software development, deployment, and integration of software solutions.
Elvárások / Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in software engineering, computer science, information systems,
information technology, or similar. - 5+ years of experience in leading a team of software engineers, successfully taking a
functionally safe product through to production. - Direct experience in the following software elements:
o Application Development (Model based preferred),
o Software Architecture - Demonstrable inspirational people leadership skills, able to bring people and teams along with
them, sometimes in challenging circumstances. - Strong situational leadership skills, adapting messaging to suit the audience.
- Ability to mentor junior software developers, as well as to collaborate with all stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
- Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven experience in managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
- Solutions and outcome driven.
- Resilient to work in a fast-paced evolving environment, managing complexity and ambiguity
comfortably. - Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
- Strong conflict management and resolution skills.
- Willing to periodically work out of scope to solve immediate issues
