Pozíció leírása / Job descriptionYour main responsibility will be the following:
- month-end closings
- general ledger account analysis
- balance sheet account reconciliations
- prepare SOX controls
- prepare and review management reports and financial information analysis on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- identifying, solving and/or escalating accounting issues
- continuously improve closing processes and efficiency
- ensure compliance with policies and SOX controls
- actively participate in general ledger change projects as required
- reporting and analyses of data and other ad hoc requests for information
- assisting with country audit requests
- Degree in relevant field (preferably in finance and accounting) or CPA / ACCA, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in accounting; previous experience in a shared service center or accounting experience at a large company, or fast-paced environment is desired
- Advanced understanding of accounting & internal accounting controls
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Fluent in English, spoken and written as well, any other European language is a plus
- Previous experience with SAP (or similar ERP system) is an advantage
