Our international partner is looking for a Finance Manager to join the Budapest team. In this role you will have both operational and people management tasks. Experience in property management accounting / finance is a plus but not required.

...- Supervise staff within the team.
- Continuously prepare and review, monitor and ensure the timely issue and accuracy of all financial obligations as per the property management contracts and tenant leases i.e. bank reconciliations, rent, service charge, utilities and miscellaneous invoices to tenants, rent deposits, cash receipts, VAT reporting to client's bookkeeper.
- Regular prepare and review of client reporting input and periodic reports and any other ad-hoe reports as required also to Head of Property Management.
- Regular prepare and review of various client funding requests and lease/tenancy database information.
- Closely working with property managers and site staff as appropriate.
- Attendance at meetings with clients, and their accountants and working with clients to understand their financial and reporting issues.
- Work within the team to ensure there is no back-log of work, make sure that the finance team complies with the given practices and procedures (reporting, debt collection, invoicing, issuing payments, etc.).
- Be familiar with local accounting regulations and the Department QA procedures.
- Deal with client auditors as required.
- Ensure the smooth running of the finance services.
- Be the first point of contact for local iRems system application to be able to serve the needs of the project.
- Able to provide all the operational tasks as a Senior Property Accountant.
- Create and improve the team workflows, supervising the members and teamwork.
- Define the responsibilities of the team members and the scope of their activities.
- Approve the holidays and coordinate the substitution.
- Professional support and share the professional news with the team.
- Training and support the team about the used systems.
- Collect and report the problems about the used systems.
- Delegate and coordinate the daily operational work of the team.
- Fulfill other ad-hoc requests from clients
Elvárások / Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Finance Manager
- Relevant College or University degree
- Certified accountant and familiar with international accounting practice
- Experience in and understanding of Property Accounting systems is a plus but not a must
- Fluency in English and Hungarian is a must, other languages would be an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Communication - Strong written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills with clients, suppliers, and other relationships
- Time Management - highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
- Capacity to make quick but rational decisions
