Our Partner, a market leader Automotive Supplier in the Area of Miskolc is looking for an Direct Buyer who will be responsible for the following tasks:
Pozíció leírása / Job description- Build - up supplier strategy in locally managed commodities
- Drive ongoing supplier panel optimization and continuous improvement at plant level
- Prepare and lead negotiations, ensuring contracts with locally managed suppliers
- Monitor supplier’s performance (capacity – cost – delivery – quality) and take part in suppliers development programs
- Maintain and lead material savings projects and support technical changes
- Support Quality and Supply Chain teams in the plant in case of escalation process
- Act with integrity and full respect of business ethics
- Master/Bachelor’s Degree in economics / business or engineering
- Proficient in English is a must, 2nd language is always desirable
- Effectively using MS Office tools to improve daily work
- Min. 5 years’ experience as a commodity buyer in industrial environment, preferably in automotive area
- A good understanding of automotive industry
- Experience sourcing of machined / turned / mechanical parts
- Understanding of heat treatment, surface treatment technology is an advantage
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in negotiations and contractual agreements
- Capability to work in teams within international environment
