Our partner is the biggest independent company who develops engines (combustion, electrical and hybrid as well), electrical powertrains, batteries and softwares for the partners in the automotive industry. Moreover our partner also participates in the process of simulation, testing and calibration. You can find their products in various vehicles like cars, trucks and self-driving cars.
Pozíció leírása / Job description- System, concept & function definitions for transmissions, electrified transmissions and electrified propulsion systems (E-Axle / electric drive units EDU)
- Development, application and improvement of simulation models and plant models for the hybrid and electrical components
- Definition and evaluation of requirements for above systems, following automotive and AVL standards (e.g. ISO26262, ASPICE, KGAS)
- Specification of test cases and validation approaches, alignment with other AVL teams
- Verification of the system and simulation models within SIL, HIL & vehicle tests
- Close cooperation with other product related skill teams in AVL, such as simulation and calculation teams, software development, powertrain system and design teams
- Support cross-divisional development teams
The ideal candidate has:
- Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar degree
- Knowledge of transmission, E-Axle/EDU and powertrain (in terms of both mechanics and electrical hardware)
- Knowledge of simulation methods (1D or 3D)
- Knowledge in controls engineering and model-based development with Matlab/Simulink
- Readiness to work your way into various tasks based on development requirements
- Structured and organized working style
- High sense of responsibility, goal-orientation and teamwork skills
- Good communication skills in English
- Willingness to learn, open for customer contact
