- Participate in the safety management of the battery plant and equipment in the entire life cycle stage to ensure that it meets internal and local legal requirement
- Consult and train employees on all safety related matters
- Establish, implement and maintain ISO 45001 management system
- Creating risk assessments and prevention concepts to mitigate the risks
- Creation and coordination of Safety Operating Instructions
- Support Managers and Supervisors in recording events like injuries, illnesses, near misses, investigate accidents & increased exposures
- Organize exposure control measurements
- Performance of industrial safety (SEVESO) tasks
- Review of process/work instructions & take part in the compilation of safety relevant parts
- Build up and maintain hazardous chemical matrix, and in later stages the exposure/usage maps
- Initiate and help implement Health and Safety related trainings and programs
- A bachelor or master’s degree in the field of Occupational health and safety engineering or the equivalent in experience
- Minimum 3 years of work experience, ideally in the industrial or automotive sector
- Experience with construction site safety management is preferred
- Training in the field of dangerous materials, machine safety or laser and radiation protection is preferred
- Experience working with Hungarian authorities
- Very good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, ability to build strong relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in Hungarian and English
