Our partner is a world leader in industrial packaging products and services who is looking for an AP Team Leader into their Budapest based BSC.

Pozíció leírása / Job description

The AP Team Leader serves as first level in the management hierarchy, leading Accounts Payable and Senior Accounts Payable Specialists (12-15 employees) and undertaking overall responsibility of the Accounts Payable activities for the assigned entities.

• Ensure that all AP tasks completed for the supported entities and SOX controls are met.
• Responsible for reviewing/approving AP entries, account reconciliation, payments, closing checklists.
• Prioritizing the workload according to requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Build up good relationship with the local colleagues for the respective countries, regularly monitor customer satisfaction.
• Manages optimal utilization in the Team (e.g. work allocation, controlling leaves, vacation planning). Ensure business continuity, define and maintain proper backup structure.
• Meeting Key Performance Indicators and requirements such as Productivity, Quality and Schedule related metrics.
• Proactively escalates significant issues to Direct Line Manager.
• People management: periodical one to ones, improvement plans, trainings, coaching, motivating.
• Prepare KPI’s, provide regular feedback to colleagues about their performance.
• Communicates daily and motivates the team ensuring retention management.
• Prepare the annual performance appraisal and hold discussion with team members.
• Provide different tool administration support for AP Team members.
• Participate in the recruitment process by conducting interviews and evaluating candidates.
• Responsible of the successful induction and integration of new joiners.
• Focus on Continuous improvement, drives process improvement initiatives and manages implementations.
• Organize team building activities.

Elvárások / Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the field of Accounts Payable
• 1-2 year leadership experience
• Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economy
• Fluent English is a must
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Proactive, can-do approach to solve problems
• Openness to change and ability to learn quickly
• Customer focused
• Able to travel up to 20%
