We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst in one of the world’s leading energy companies with more than a 100,000 employees and contractors located in over 50 countries around the world. Their large, in-house IT organization consists of 6,000 professionals supporting an array of business lines, plants, refineries, manufacturing sites, internal and external business partners.

The Quality Assurance Analyst role will be responsible to development test cases based on functional requirements. This role will also be responsible for tracking and validating test cases. The Software Assurance Analyst is also expected to execute test cases, log defects, and/or triage existing defects to ensure software releases and updates are flawless. The Software Quality Analyst may build and execute automated test scripts. The ideal candidate has the ability to;
• Build knowledge of complex fuels related processes in partnership with subject matter experts
• Create project test plans, execute/coordinate testing, track and report testing progress
• Manage of defect resolution and with software vendors

• Manage the design, preparation and execution of test scenarios, as well as detailed test cases
• Provide project plans for end to end testing including systems integration
• Coordinate defect management processes, including facilitating defect review meetings to ensure defects are reviewed and prioritize with appropriate stakeholders
• Provide timely and appropriate progress reports to key stakeholders
• Coordinate deployment of remediated code with application support teams
• Develop test strategies and implement appropriate risk based testing approaches
• Provide support and guidance on best practices, including documentation, reporting and tooling

Elvárások / Requirements

• Experience in software testing including test planning, test cases development, execution, and quality assessment
• Experience with various software testing strategies (e.g. parallel testing, regression testing)
• Good understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance concepts
• Knowledge of test metrics and how they are used to support decisions
• Able to analyze varied and complex scenarios, and to make independent decisions
• Ability to lead without authority & facilitate problem solving in a group setting
• Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
